Next Level German is ExperioLingo's first programme: German for English-speaking adults who are building a life in Germany, not collecting certificates. It combines structured DELA tracks, live practice with real people, and a network of local businesses that know why you're there.

Who it's for

English speakers who live here, who can order a coffee and still can't handle a phone call. That includes complete beginners, and people who understand quite a lot of German but lose their nerve when it's time to speak.

It's for people who've tried the apps and the evening class and still brace every time the phone rings. Apps aren't bad; they're just not enough.

What you get

• Structured DELA tracks. Each track stands on its own, so you start where your life is rather than at the beginning of a syllabus.
• Live practice with real people. Actual humans, not a chatbot.
• Local businesses on your side. Partners who know why you're there and welcome you accordingly.
• A room where nobody is grading you.

What it isn't

It isn't a grammar course, a certificate mill, or another 400 flashcards. We don't start by giving you more to study. We start by making everyday situations survivable, then repeatable, and then yours.

Starting points

Learners can enter at different starting points. Track A is where the method itself becomes clear, so it's what we recommend for beginners and for anyone who wants a supportive foundation. But each track stands on its own, and you can begin wherever fits your life right now.

Where it happens

Next Level German is built around Wiesbaden, where our practice network of local businesses and organisations is. Wiesbaden is the first ExperioLingo Network pilot city. Additional locations are planned but are not yet available.

How to start

[ADD ONE LINE ON HOW TO START, KEPT OUT OF THE EVERGREEN TEXT: the current entry point is best given on the programme page, so this post stays accurate when details change.]

If you're not sure where to begin, the Life, Just in German podcast is a generally free way to get a feel for the people and ideas behind the programme.
